We want our staff to feel like part of the family rather than just a number on the books, we’re always happy to see our team flourish and develop progressive career trajectories, both individually and as part of the company. To reinforce this, we have introduced a number of incentives for staff who go that extra mile and truly embody the ethos of MCM Medical.
MCM Advancement Initiative
Continual professional development is held in high regard at MCM Medical. This quite often entails further cost to the staff member, such as payment for courses or to attend seminars. As qualified practitioners, we understand the desire to be at the top of one’s field and we’d like to help.
Every year, we offer 1 staff member the opportunity to further their career with some financial support from an MCM Advancement Initiative, offering the chosen candidate up to £750 to cover the cost of their preferred course, module or seminar.
If you’d like to be considered for this, simply submit the basic details of the course along with a 1000 word statement explaining why you should be chosen as the recipient and how you embody the visions and values of MCM Medical along with any other information you feel may be pertinent. The winning candidate is selected every September, with the funding available for use up to 12 months after. To qualify for the initiative, applicants must have completed 100 hours of work and been employed by MCM Medical for a minimum of 6 months. The successful candidate will be shortlisted by the directors and a panel of educational experts.
MCM Employee of the Year
We pride ourselves on having an extremely dedicated team with a strong work ethic that we see displayed every single day. To show our appreciation, we introduced the Employee of the Year award.
Every September, the directors will select a staff member that we feel has gone above and beyond in their duties and has exemplified all of MCM Medical’s core values. Candidate nominations will be requested of all theatre managers, team leaders and MCM directors, whereupon the directors will review all nominations and a winner will be selected.
There are 2 prize options; a gift card to the value of £100 or a trip away to the value of £100 paid by MCM Medical.
